Macro-regenerating nodule in the cirrhotic liver

Description
Regenerating nodule occurs in chronically damaged liver and its radiological diagnosis is often liver and its radiological diagnosis is often difficult. We report a case of macro-regenerating nodule diagnosed by liver scanning and angiography. Additional laparoscopy and needle biopsy were performed for confirmation. Computed tomography and ultrasound were also helpful in differential diagnosis. (author)
