Peculiarities of clinical picture and treatment for radioinduced thyroid cancer in children and adolescents of Ukraine

Description

Radioinduced thyroid carcinomas in children and adolescents which occurred after the Chernobyl accident differ in their clinical features and are high aggressive. The method of choice in this case is total thyroidectomy with further radioiodine treatment and suppressive therapy with thyroid hormones
