Description

Magnetic measurements on a La2/3Ca1/3MnO3/YBa2Cu3O7/La2/3Ca1/3MnO3 trilayer were performed with the field applied parallel to the plane of the film. Ferromagnetic transition is at about 125 K and the superconducting transition was suppressed to 60 K. The thicknesses of LCMO and YBCO layers were 50 nm and 20 nm, respectively. We observed an evidence for the ferromagnetic-like interaction between the two LCMO layers. We proposed a coupling mechanism mediated by London screening currents to explain our observations
