Modelling the HRR-singularity with akin and conventional singular elements

Description
A single edge notched plate of elastic-plastic material has been analysed using different finite element meshes and different singular crack tip element. Especially the Akin element was of interest since it gives a possibility to model the HRR-singularity. (author)
