Description
An explicit and consistent meson-exchange model for the NN-interaction is described. For a quantitative description of higher partial wave phase-shifts the rather sizable ππ-S-wave contribution proves to be essential. The authors compare the results from their model for the 2π-exchange with the corresponding obtained from dispersion theory and find a remarkable agreement in most higher partial waves. (Auth.)
