Thermodynamic analysis of reduction ability of beryllium in iron melts

Description
The Gibbs energy of beryllium transition into an iron melt, the constant of liquid iron deoxidation by beryllium, the parameters of its interaction with oxygen and the curve of iron deoxidation by beryllium are calculated. It is established that the deoxidation depth characteristic for rare-earth metals and aluminium, when usinf beryllium, is reached
