Description

A study was made of alkaline and acid DNAase activity in thymocytes and bone marrow of rats. The activity of both acid and alkaline DNAase.s in thymocytes, 4 h after exposure in a dosage of 900 R, was more than two-fold increased as compared with that of bone marrow DNAases. It was shown that the increase of DNAase 1 activity in thymocytes is not followed by the decrease in DNAase 1 inhibitor activity. The rates of DNA enzymic degradation at different enzyme/substrate DNA ratio was determined to show that the increase in DNAase 1 activity in thymocytes of exposed rats is related to the increase in the active enzyme content of cells
