Description

This report presents the situation of the batteries and accumulators industry in France in 2018 on the basis of the information collected through the platform dedicated to the Extended Producer Responsibility declaration system (Syderep) and complemented with direct data from the industry actors. 1434 millions of batteries and accumulators were sold in 2018 representing 252091 tons. Collection rate of used batteries and accumulators from portable devices reached 46,7%. Eco-organisations still continue their efforts in order to reach the 50% goal fixed for 2021

Abstract (French)

Le present rapport dresse un etat des lieux de la filiere des piles et accumulateurs en France en 2018 sur la base des elements recueillis via le Registre national des producteurs de Piles et Accumulateurs (PA), completes de donnees provenant des acteurs de la filiere. 1434 millions de piles et accumulateurs tous types confondus ont ete mis sur le marche en 2018, representant 252091 tonnes mises sur le marche en 2018. Concernant les piles et accumulateurs portables, le taux de collecte national est de 46,7 % en 2018. Les efforts devront donc se poursuivre pour atteindre l'objectif de collecte de 50 % que se fixent les eco-organismes d'ici a fin 2021
