Formation and properties of the high-tc phase Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ prepared from various bismuth oxide compounds

Description
The effect of the initial mixture composition on the formation mechanism and structural-sensitive properties of the bismuth-containing high-tc phase of the Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ(2212) composition is studied. It is shown that utilization of strontium carbonate in the reaction mixtures slows down the process of the 2212 phase formation. The value of diamagnetic response of the samples under investigation is measured
