Regulation concerning designated agencies for mechanism confirmation

Description

This rule is established under the provisions of the law on the prevention of radiation injuries by radioisotopes and to enforce the law. Terms are used in this ordinance for the same meanings as in the law. The designation of the designated agencies for mechanism confirmation is made according to the kinds of the apparatuses fitted with radioisotopes, classified in the enforcement ordinance of the law. Persons who intend to get the designation of the designated agencies for the confirmation shall file to the Director General of the Science and Technology Agency application which include names, addresses and the names of representatives, the names and places of offices where confirmation business is carried on, the classification of mechanism confirmation to be made and the dates of beginning the confirmation. To the application the articles of association, the abstracts of registers and other specified documents shall be attached. The designation of the designated agencies for inspection is made according to the classification into facility inspection and regular inspection. When inspection was performed, these agencies shall submit reports to the Director General until the end of the next month of the inspection. The designation of the designated agencies for transported goods confirmation is made according to the kinds of these goods, which contain radioisotopes more or less than 20,000 curie.
