Description
A K-edge densitometer is described which is used to analyse the U and Pu concentrations in reprocessing output samples. The isotopic composition of Pu is determined by gamma spectroscopy combined with the isotope correlation technique. Results of a field test and subsequent application for routine analysis for fissile material control purposes indicate that this method is highly accurate and reliable. (author)
