Effect of stripping channel on energy dependence of deuteron optical potential

Description
Coupled-channel calculation has been done for 48Ca, coupling the elastic and p-stripping channel at five energies of the incident deuteron, e.g. 5.0, 7.2, 10.0, 13.0 and 16.0 MeV. The stripping cross-sections are in good agreement with experimental data. The calculated elastic scattering cross-sections fit the experimental values qualitatively. (author)
