Proceedings of the twenty seventh PSSI national symposium on plasma science and technology on challenges of power generation and lighting 21st century

PLASMA-the rarest form of matter in the universe and the basis for many spectacular phenomena realized on the earth due to its existence in the surrounding of planets, sun, stars, nebulas, and galaxies. Plasma is identified as the fundamental ionized state of individual gas particles. The scientific developments of the past few decades have established that the plasma based research can be initiated significantly in the laboratory scale. Solar cell, hydrogen as fuel and other relevant areas, computer simulation and modelling, exotic plasma, industrial plasma, laser plasma, nuclear fusion, plasma diagnostics, and space and astrophysical plasma are the topics covered in this symposia.
