Thermal stability of Compact Beryllium Materials Manufactured on the Basis of Dusting Powder with the Spherical Form of Particles
- 1. NSC 'Kharkov Institute of Physics and Technology', Kharkov (Ukraine)
Description
Through the use of optical and electronic microscopy were investigated thermal stability of compact beryllium materials obtained by hot isostatic pressing of dusting powder with the spherical form of particles. The relation of a mean gain of aggregate size to temperature and time of an annealing is investigated. It is shown, that the size and uniformity of an initial dusting power essentially increase thermal stability of a material. It is established, that the highest thermal stability has the materials of high parallax purity and doped by impurity in solid solution
