Description

Present experimental studies of neutrino oscillations are discussed. Present data from atmospheric and long baseline oscillation experiments are explained well with 2 flavor νμ→ντ oscillations. Similarly, solar and reactor neutrino data are explained well with 2 flavor νe→(νμ and ντ) oscillations. The MiniBooNE experiment observed no evidence for νμ→νe oscillations in the Δm2 = 1 eV2 range. Now, all the oscillation results are consistently explained within the 3 flavor oscillation framework
