The results of research aimed at the development of production technology of zirconium dioxide which can be used for Bacor-refractories and abrasives are given. The process of zircon break down by lime chloride mixture in studied. When studying the processes of leaching of zirconium cake the optimum regimes of ZrO2 purification on other cake components are developed
