Superconductivity
Description
The author considers some aspects on superconductivity which are closely related to the Eliashberg coupling function and the phonon branch index. After summarizing the important Hamiltonians and presenting the Eliashberg equations, the author discusses how information can be extracted and how the equations can be solved. The thermodynamic properties of weak and strong coupling superconductors are reviewed. (Auth.)
