Studies of chemiluminescence in boron atom reactions with epoxides

Chemiluminescence from the electronically excited A 2PI state of BO has been observed in the single-collision reactions of boron atoms with several epoxides. Cross sections for the production of the A 2PI state of BO were measured and the vibrational distributions in that state were determined. (orig.)
