Description
This report is the review of current level 1 probabilistic safety assessment (PSA) practices in Germany describing level 1 PSA organisation, the detailed scope of PSA as well as the methods and data that are used. Moreover, the application of the PSA results to assess the safety level of nuclear power plants in operation and the power of the PSA tool to support the design process of new reactor concepts are addressed. The report has been elaborated in the frame of the EC project and reflects the content prescribed by the project. (orig.)

(orig.)Additional details
