F tures of corrosion behaviouea of perlite type steel in aqueous oxygen-containing coolant
Description
Results of experimental investigation into corrosion resistance of steels-20 and 1Kh18N10T in flows of oxygen-containing and deaerated water are given. Dependences of the corrosion rate in steel 20 on the water flow velocity and temperature are presented. The rate of iron carry-over at 423 and 473 K from the surface of steel 20 into oxygen-containing water is shown to be negligible, and pitting formed on the surface of steel 20 at the beginning of testing is not developed further on
