Description
Energy demand is influenced by population growth and improved quality of life. Economic growth and protecting the environment need to go hand in hand. The life-cycle emissions of CO2 from coal, hydro, nuclear, solar and wind powers are 860, 24, 12,48 and 12 gCO2/kWh respectively. Acting on climate change means reducing emissions and increasing climate resilience. Global energy demands can be met with a proper combination of nuclear, renewable, efficiency and innovative technologies
