Mean square amplitudes of atom vibrations on the Al (111) surface determined by surface plasmon spectroscopy
- 1. AN SSSR, Leningrad. Fiziko-Tekhnicheskij Inst.
Description
Surface plasmon spectroscopy has been applied to determine the mean square amplitudes of atom vibrations of the Al (111) surface. For the atomic pure surface mean square amplitudes are about 5-7 times higher than the bulk value. The effect of impurity atoms on the mean square amplitudes of atom vibrations has been considered
