Description
Computerization of 500 MWe PHWR power plant calls for analysis of the requirements of various Control and Instrumentation (C and I) functions. The task involves processing of a large number of signals and implementation of control algorithms taking various aspects into consideration. This paper focuses on the application areas and aspects of computer control systems. An architecture worked out meeting various requirements of the plant has been described briefly. (author). 1 fig
