Description

The results of dosimetric measurements using a cellulose triacetate foil and a calorimetric dosemeter for dose measurements of 500 keV and 300 keV accelerated electrons with dose rates up to 36 kGy/s were compared. The results of comparative measurements showed that cellulose triacetate foil is well suited for the dosimetry of accelerated electrons. The employed simple calorimetric dosemeter with graphite target and built-in thermocouple is equally well suited for the dosimetry of accelerated electrons for use with high dose rates and relatively low electron energies.
