Schwinger mechanism for dynamically massive fermions
Creators

Description
We show that charge screening takes place in the large-N Schwinger-Thirring model despite the dynamically acquired fermion mass. The dynamical Goldstone boson also acquires a mass. We comment briefly on the relevance of this to the problem of the absence of a ninth light pseudoscalar meson
