Calculation and design of a thermal neutron beam at the Channel No.1 of Dalat research reactor

Description
Calculations and design for development of a new thermal neutron beam have been carried out at the horizontal channel No.1 of the Dalat research reactor. This thermal neutron beam is expected to be open for research and education on experimental neutron physics at the Dalat Nuclear Research Institute. The results of optimal beam design and Monte Carlo simulations are presented in this report. (author)
