Scalar and electromagnetic properties of diffraction gratings for the X-ray radiation

Description

One determined restrictions for diffraction scalar theory when analyzing the efficiency of X-ray gratings and showed the necessity to apply vector electromagnetic approaches. Paper describes a new nonscalar property peculiar to behaviour of efficiency of high-frequency X-ray gratings of any profile and manifesting itself when its coating material is changed. Paper presents a comparison of the efficiency curves calculated on the basis of the rigorous integral method and measured at the synchrotron radiation

Abstract (Russian)

Определены ограничения скалярной теории дифракции при анализе эффективности рентгеновских решеток и показана необходимость использования векторных электромагнитных подходов. Описано новое нескалярное свойство, присущее поведению эффективности высокочастотных рентгеновских решеток любого профиля и проявляющееся при изменении материала их покрытия. Представлено сравнение рассчитанных на основе строгого интегрального метода и измеренных на синхротронном излучении кривых эффективности
