Stabilization of plasma flute oscillations in an open trap by means of a feedback magnetic system

Description
Dispersed equations for flute oscillations of rarefied plasma are derived in the presence of a feedback multielectrode symmetry system. Real characteristics of electrostatic detectors employed in experiments are taken into account. Stability regions in the ''density-amplification coefficient'' plane are numerically calculated for systems with various number of stabilizing elements
