Theory Support for the Excited Baryon Analysis Program at the JLAB 12 GeV Upgrade
Description
This document summarizes the contributions of the Electromagnetic γvNN* Transition Form Factors workshop participants that provide theoretical support of the excited baryon program at the 12 GeV energy upgrade at JLab. The main objectives of the workshop were (a) review the status of the γvNN* transition form factors extracted from the meson electroproduction data, (b) call for the theoretical interpretations of the extracted N$-N* transition form factors, that enable access to the mechanisms responsible for the N* formation and to their emergence from QCD.
