Psychic development of children exposed to radiation during the critical period of cerebrogenesis
Description
64 children aged 5 - 5.5, whose mothers had been exposed due to Chernobyl disaster to ionizing radiation in the pregnancy term of 8 - 15 weeks were examined. Syndrome of vegetative dystonia was revealed in 76.5 ± 5.3 % of children, asthenic syndrome - in 60.9 ± 6.1 % and cerebrasthenic - in 12.5 ± 4.1 %. Psychic retardation was found in 25.0 ± 5.4 % of children. (author). 14 refs
