Prediction of subcooled boiling void fraction

Description
In the suggested model the calculation of both radial and axial void fraction is reduced to the solution of only one equation, namely the diffusion equation. This is possible because the movement of the bubbles in heated channels is considered to be at random due to the flow turbulence. Analytical expressions for the void fractions in flat channel and circular tubes are given. Moreover, a comparison of the predicted profiles with experimental data showed satisfactory agreement.
