Development and operation of new units at the I-2 linac in 1973

Information on the development and start-up, in 1976, of new units of the linear accelerator of the I-2 injector of the ITEhF proton synchrotron is collected. The I-2 accelerator operated 1130 hr as injector. The vacuum system was based on an oil-free pump. The vacuum in the resonator was 6.4x10-6 mm Hg. All basic units of the I-2 were modernized. Spectra were recorded by apparatus for automatic spectrum recording. Plots of the current at the output of the analyzing magnet showed that the spectrum of the beam at compensation of the power outlay is shortened.
