Gas transfer system
Description
The state of work on the Vivitron gas transfer system and the system functions are summarized. The system has to: evacuate the Vivitron reservoir; transfer gas from storage tanks to the Vivitron; recirculate gas during operation; transfer gas from the Vivitron to storage tanks; and assure air input. The system is now being installed. Leak alarms are given by SF6 detectors, which set off a system of forced ventilation. Another system continuously monitors the amount of SF6 in the tanks

L'etat d'avancement du systeme de transfert de gaz pour le Vivitron, et les fonctions demandees au systeme sont presentes. Les fonctions sont: mise sous vide du reservoir Vivitron; transfert du gaz des reservoirs de stockage vers le Vivitron; recirculation du gaz en cours de fonctionnement; transfert du gaz du Vivitron vers les reservoirs de stockage; et rentree d'air. L'ensemble est en cours de mise en place. Des detecteurs de SF6 doivent alerter en cas de fuite et declencher un systeme de ventilation forcee.
