Determination of plasma boundary from magnetic measurements in a tokamak
Description
The problem of magnetic field distribution up to the plasma boundary in a tikamak is numerically solved in two formulations: with the assigned external confining field and under condition, when it is difficult to isolate the external field, for example, under the presence of iron core. Effective computing algorithm for magnetic measurement data processing, allowing one to restore plasma filament boundary, is constructed. The method precision and capabilities are illustrated in calculations as applied to INTOR and T-15
