Description
Mathematical study to develop mathematical model of radionuclide release from waste in shallow land disposal facility has been done. It was carried out the study mathematical equations which will be applied for computer program. the computer program is intended to evaluate the release of radionuclide, in which is influenced by fluid flow, container degradation, wasteform leaching, and radionuclide transport. By comparing to the literature, it was found mathematical equations and parameters needed for computer program. One dimensional computer program which will be developed considers parameter influence the release of radionuclide. It assumes the disposal facility above groundwater table. The method of radionuclide transport is numerical method, which the method divides the modeled domain into finite regions called control volumes (author)
