Hydraulic analysis code of PWR upper plenum with flow fraction
Description
The author has employed Flow Fraction (FF) in the calculation of upper plenum flow field with a 1:4 scale upper plenum model of a 300 MW PWR as an example to carry out the numerical calculation, the result analysis and the comparison, showing the effective FF in the calculation of the upper plenum flow field. The calculated result is compared with that measured in the simulated experiment. The flow field in the middle part of the upper plenum, especially that near the outlet nozzle of the upper plenum, agrees with that of the experiment very well. So the calculation has some engineering application values
