Scattering of 3He atoms at the surface of liquid 4He

Description
Measurements of the reflection coefficient for 3He atoms at the free surface of liquid 4He indicate that the scattering of both 3He and 4He is dominated by the 1/z3 Van der Waals potential outside the liquid. (Auth.)
