Hydro-Quebec : positioning and strategic planning
Description
Hydro-Quebec's corporate concerns for 1998-2002 were highlighted. The Corporation's strategic plan envisages that within the next decade, the utility will boost sales by 25 per cent with an investment of $13.2 billion in new generation projects. The electric utility plans to build on past experience and maintain its electricity rates and service quality. Sustaining environmental quality while developing into a world class enterprise remains a major objective of the utility.
