Rock-forming and accessory minerals in perlite of Central Slovak neovolcanics

Description
The most important deposits in the Slovak Republic are located in the area of Central Slovak neovolcanics and are related to the products of extrusion activity of rhyolite volcanism of the hawkish formation of the High Sarmatian to Lower Pannonian age (12.2 - 11.4 Ma). Phenocrystals represent a non-expandable part of the rock and at the same time limit the expansion of the grain as a whole. The aim of this paper is the basic characterization of phenocrystals of minerals present in perlite of Central Slovak neovolcanics. (authors)
