Quasielastic and fission total cross sections for 16O on 181Ta and 208Pb

  • 1. Massachusetts Inst. of Tech., Cambridge

Description

Measurements of total inelastic, few nucleon transfer, and fission cross sections are given for 16O + 208Pb at 80 to 102 MeV and for comparison for 16O + 181Ta at 83 to 96 MeV. The elastic quasielastic, and fission differential cross sections were measured. The reaction mechanisms are discussed
