Supercondutors
Description
The evolution of superconductors, since its discovery until the approach of ceramic superconductors is presented. A brief introduction of BCS theory is done, and some interesting properties under tecnological point of view are discussed. The ceramic superconductors, its tecnological powerful and the raised points with the approach of these new materials are emphasized. (M.C.K.)
Abstract (Portuguese)
Apresenta-se a evolucao dos supercondutores, desde a sua descorberta ate o advento dos supercondutores ceramicos. Faz-se uma breve introducao a teoria BCS, e discutem-se algumas propriedades interessantes do ponto de vista tecnologico. Enfatizam-se os supercondutores ceramicos, sua potencialidade tecnologica e as questoes levantadas com o advento desses novos materiais. (M.C.K.)Files
