Self-interacting scalar fields on a conformally flat background

Description
We investigate the behaviour of a real self-interacting scalar field Ψ with arbitrary curvature coupling in a conformally flat space-time. A proof is given that the classical solutions admit at least a six-dimensional group of motions acting on three-dimensional hypersurfaces. (orig.)
