Polarization effects in elastic scattering of spin one particles in the intermediate energy range
Creators
Description
Diffraction scattering theory is generalized to the elastic scattering of spin 1 particles by spinless atomic nuclei. The properties of the phenomenological deuteron profile function have been studied. The common expressions for the differential cross section and polarizable characteristics of the diffraction deuteron scattering is obtained, and the Coulomb interaction is also taken into account. The explicit expressions for some experimentally observed values have been calculated and discussed in the case of deuteron scattering by medium and heavy nuclei
