Polarization phenomena in π+ meson photoproduction on 6Li nuclei, γ + 6Li → π+ + 6He
Description
The general dependence of the differential cross-section on polarization characteristics of the photon and 6Li nucleus was established for the reaction of elastic π+ photoproduction on 6Li nuclei, γ+6Li → π++6He. Without specifying the reaction mechanism, where using only P-invariance of electromagnetic hadron interaction, it is shown that in the γ+6Li → π++6He reaction tiere occur in a general case 17 independent asymmetries of angular γ-quantum distribution depending on the combination of initial particle polarization, the dependence on the vector polarization of a 6Li target being characterized by six structural functions, and the dependence on the tensor polarization by ten structural functions. Analysis of the spin structure of the γ+6Li → π++6He process amplitude and calculation of structural functions in terms of independent amplitudes show that two structural functions are identically nullified (at any photon energy and angle ofe π+ formation), and seven relations must be fulfilled between the structural functions other than zero
