MHD convection flow in a vertical wavy channel with temperature-dependent heat sources
- 1. Sri Krishnadevaraya Univ., Anantapur (India)
Description
An attempt has been made to study the magnetohydrodynamic convection flow in the presence of a temperature-dependent heat source in a vertical wavy channel. The nonlinear equations governing the flow have been solved using Lighthill's method and evaluated numerically for variations in the free convection parameter G, the Hartmann number M, and the heat source parameter α. A comparison between the hydromagnetic and the non-magnetic cases is brought out in detail. The skin friction and Nusselt number are tabulated for different parametric values. (author)
