Dynamics of a finite squire bicrystal with line interface

Description
The phonon frequencies of a finite, simple square, Rosenstock-Newell bicrystal with a coherent linear interface are obtained by solving the dynamical equation analytically under physically significant general boundary conditions. The result shows explicit dependence on the component crystal size and the boundary condition, in addition to the usual mass and force constant dependence. (Author)
