Description
The cluster test facility, in which a model toroidal coil, called a test module coil, can be tested for fusion research, is now being constructed in JAERI. The stored energy of a pair of cluster test coil is 20 MJ. This paper describes the facility system, the coil characteristics, the vacuum system, the liquefier/refrigerator and instrumentation. 4 refs
