Safety problems at the long-term storage of high-level radioactive wastes in salt deposits
Creators
Description
The most important problem of underground storage of radioactive wastes in deep geologic formations is their long-term isolation from biosphere. For this reason ECN has done a project of the reservoir for high- and low-level radioactive wastes in salt deposits. The 200 m layer of salt ensures a safety of reservoir. 6 refs., 7 figs. (author)
