Description

Data regarding the state wise distribution of number of units in the country, type of x-ray machines and different type of examinations carried out are discussed. From the review of the data in the registration forms percentage of units not having safety parameters such as red light warning signal, personnel monitoring services and aluminium filters requirement are presented in the paper. Future programmes of the role of AERB in bringing safety on diagnostic x-rays are discussed. (author)
