Brookhaven monitors ALARA efforts in the United States

Description
Concerned at the rising levels of collective occupational dose in the United States, the NRC asked the Brookhaven National Laboratory to create an ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) centre to monitor efforts likely to reduce these levels. The work of the centre is outlined. (author)
